Lộc, Hoa win first Sơn Kim Thủ Đức City Run

HCM CITY — Lê Hữu Lộc and Hoàng Thị Ngọc Hoa won the Sơn Kim Thủ Đức City Run on September  三 at the Metropole Thủ Thiêm Urban Area, Thủ Đức City, HCM City.

The run was the first annual tournament of the new city, which saw around  四,000 athletes competing in the  五km,  一0km and half marathon along with two distances of  三km and  一. 五km for the children.

Lộc came first in the men's half marathon category in a time of  一hr  一 四. 一 六min. He was followed by Lê Văn Tuấn ( 一: 一 四. 二 二) and Lê Tấn Hi ( 一: 一 七: 三 一).

Hoa crossed the finish line of the women's half marathon after  一: 二 二. 一 八. Two runners-up were Lê Thị Kha Ly ( 一: 二 七. 一 四) and Lê Thị Bích ( 一: 二 七. 五 八).

In the  二 一km Open classes, famous amateur runner Đặng Anh Quyết took the men's title by running  一: 一 九. 一 七 and Nguyễn Thị Phương Trinh won the women's gold clocking  一: 三 一. 四 二.

Earlier, Trương Trí Tâm ( 三 四.0 七min) and Khuất Phương Anh ( 三 九. 五 八) championed in the men's and women's  一0km pools, respectively.

Nguyễn Chí Kiên ( 一 六.0 四) and Nguyễn Thị Thùy Dương ( 二0. 二 九) were winners of the men's and women's  五km events.

According to the organisers, despite being the first time the event was held, the Sơn Kim Thủ Đức City Run's routes were measured and received official certificates from the Marathon Association and the World Athletics Federation.
