ABSTRACT SUBMISSION HAS CLOSED. ABSTRACTS WERE SELECTED BY THE QBIO PROGRAM COMMITTEE.
We will continue to accept abstract submissions for posters through April 23, 2019.
The way that ACM archives publications is changing, which means the author templates are also changing. From Spring 2019, publications will be archived in the XML based JATS/BITs format so that our content can be more flexible and resilient for the future. PDFs will no longer be the primary artefact of publications, but will stand alongside other formats such as ePub and HTML. The Blue Diamond Newsletter discusses these changes in detail.
Conferences can opt-in to the new template and publications workflow so that their proceedings will be produced with accessible HTML formats.
Speakers must provide their abstract as a part of the registration process (you can edit the abstract up until 1 April 2019). The registration takes place within our Conference Manager system. See the registration page.

Abstract Information
APS reserves the right to reject or alter abstracts based on, but not limited to, the following criteria:
- Abstracts do not comply with style guidelines, including excessive length (contributed abstract body text is limited to approximately 1300 characters)
- Abstracts contain inappropriate content
- Abstracts fall outside of the topical scope of the meeting
