Abstract format
Abstracts should conform to the following format requirements:

  • Abstract title visible (preferably centered at top of page, in bold, in sentence case).
  • Main text must be 500 words or less. (Please include a word count in the document.)
  • Document must be two pages or less. (Examples, tables, figures, and/or references may be on a second page.)
  • Fully anonymous: authors’ names, affiliations, or pictures should not be indicated anywhere in the document.
  • Figure captions and table legends (preferably in the same font as the main text) should not contain excessive amounts of substantial text (i.e., should not be used to circumvent the length limit on the main text).
  • Nonevaluative
  • Coherent and readable
  • Concise
  • Accurate

The purpose of an abstract is to provide a reader with a short summary of a your written work or research paper. Generally, it is one paragraph ranging from 150 to 250 words . A well written abstract should be:

A one-page abstract should be prepared in the following format: (1) Use a sheet of A4 size paper. (2) Use 12 points Times New Roman for the main text and smaller fonts may be used for figure captions. (3) The width of each line should not exceed 17.5 cm or 7.0 inch. (4) Start the first line leaving the space of 2.5 cm or 1.0 inch on the upper side. (5) Title, author’s names, and affiliations should be centered. (6) Insert one blank line between the affiliations and the main text. (7) Main text should be fully justified with a single spacing. (8) Use bold face with bigger fonts for title but not for authors, affiliations, and the main text. (9) Please underline the presenting author. (10) Leave the space of 2.5 cm or 1.0 inch at lease on the bottom of the text. Page number will be printed there. (11) Deadline is 15 April 2007.

You are invited to submit your abstract to the 11 th International conference on Research in Engineering, Science and Technology , March 19-21, 2021 in Budapest, Hungary. Please send your abstract for evaluation by the Scientific Committee and if abstract is accepted, submitter must provide full text paper. The full paper will be requested for subsequent publication opportunities. Otherwise, your abstract only will be published in the Proceeding.
Upon payment of the registration fee, your presentation will be confirmed.

Preparing Abstracts:
When uploading your abstract, please use the format requested below. Abstracts will be published exactly as received; please be sure to use the abstract template. It is critical that your abstract is received correctly and on time so that it can be included in the symposium guide.

Please study the format and style of Sample Abstract and ensure that your contribution adheres to the Abstract Format. Contributions should be presented in plain English, concise, precise and well structured. Abstracts should consist of a title which should be brief but descriptive. It should indicate site of study, e.g. Mpumalanga , South Africa and exclude authorities for scientific names, though family and/or order in parenthesis is often desirable. Use common names only when widely known or unequivocal.
The abstract should be in Times New Roman on an A5 page size with 2cm margins. The title should be in 12pt font size, bold and center aligned. This should be folowed by the author list below the abstract title in 10pt font size, centre aligned with one line between the paper title and the author list. No titles should be stated and initials must be separated by a full-stop and should be followed by the author surname. Author affiliation appears below the author list in 10pt font size with one line between the author list and the author affiliation. The affiliations listed should only include the organisation, location/city and country. Each affiliation should appear on a separate line. Write out “and” rather than using the symbol “&”. The corresponding author should be indicated and an e-mail address provided below the author affiliation list. This should be italicized and in 10pt size font.

  • The total length should not be more than four A4 pages.
  • The abstract written in English should include short sections addressing:
    • Aim and approach used
    • Scientific innovation and relevance
    • Results or pleminary results and conclusions

The abstract should contain new scientific work that has not been presented in another conference. Authors are invited to carefully read the topic descriptions and select the topic and subtopic which most closely matches the key novelty of their work.
