Di Bello described the color-splashed works as “ abstract expressionism” with “surrealist” methods.
Unhappily, the Assembly is not providing a Constitution for contemporary Frenchmen, but for abstract beings.

Use the adjective abstract for something that is not a material object or is general and not based on specific examples.
Abstract is from a Latin word meaning “pulled away, detached,” and the basic idea is of something detached from physical, or concrete, reality. It is frequently used of ideas, meaning that they don’t have a clear applicability to real life, and of art, meaning that it doesn’t pictorially represent reality. It is also used as a noun, especially in the phrase “in the abstract” (a joke has a person laying down a new sidewalk saying “I like little boys in the abstract, but not in the concrete”), and as a verb (accented on the second syllable), meaning “to remove.”

This is not the fault of Columbus, albeit we only have an abstract of his journal.
Philosophy had become extravagant, eclectic, abstract, devoid of any real content.

We’re incredibly proud of the results the Faculty is achieving right now. The papers we’ve selected for this edition of ‘In Abstract’ will give you an insight into the world-class research we do here in Manchester – and will certainly keep you busy for some time.

Abstracts are peer reviewed. Notification of abstract acceptance or rejection will be sent to the contact author via email by August 20, 2020. All decisions are final and may not be appealed.

Abstract submission for the 2020 ASH Annual Meeting is now open. Please review the submission guidelines and instructions here.
Abstracts submitted for oral and poster presentations at the ASH annual meeting represent important, novel research in the field and are considered the best of the thousands of abstracts submitted. Typically, more than 5,000 scientific abstracts are submitted each year and more than 3,000 abstracts are accepted for oral and poster presentations through an extensive peer review process.
